Summer Survivor Canine Spray - 600 ml.
The canine has menthol* to discourage dog from licking it off and has less cinnamic aldehyde than the equine formula because they have exposed skin on their stomach and chest areas. Come in 600 ml bottles with spray cap and are based on the Swiss formula with Geranium, Vanillin, and cinnamic aldehyde which also impart the distinctive and pleasant scent, and bioprocessed soybean oil. They have a higher concentration of natural active agents and do not have the ingredients used in the human use products that enhance skin health and secondary protection. Formulated for individuals that do not wish to use chemical sprays on their pets. During testing in 2005 with a professional dog handler and his team of Karelian dogs, it was found some dogs tended to lick the spray, therefore menthol has been added to the formula to discourage them from doing this. The product was released in 2006 and early field reports from sales staff in the stores that have given out samples and sold it are very, very positive. One sales person used it on herself and her dog at the same time and said they both loved it. There have been no reports of skin irritation. However it is not recommended for human use because it is not formulated for human skin in that it does not have the same adjusted PH balance, emolient or humectant characteristics, the benefits of Castor and fractionated coconut, and some of the EO's are in concentrations higher than the human formulas. Directions: Users can expect to reapply the spray every 2-3 hours depending on activity and environment, or immediately after the aninal comes out of water and has partially dried off. Do not spray in eyes. If animal suffers from allergies or you are worried about potential sensitivity , patch test first on exposed skin on belly.
